Every school has classrooms.
Every school has textbooks.
Many schools have libraries.
So why did we create the LoveNest Reading Library?
Because we believe reading is one of the greatest investments that can be made in a child's future.
Before a child learns to read, knowledge is largely limited to what others can teach them.
After a child learns to read, they gain something extraordinary—the freedom to continue learning for the rest of their lives.
That freedom changes everything.
A child who reads is no longer limited by the walls of a classroom.
Through books, they can explore ancient civilizations, discover scientific breakthroughs, understand different cultures, meet remarkable people, travel across continents, and wrestle with ideas that have shaped the world.
Books allow children to experience lives they have never lived, visit places they have never seen, and consider perspectives they may never have encountered.
Reading enlarges both the mind and the heart.
But we also know that a love of reading rarely happens by accident.
It is nurtured.
It grows when children are surrounded by books.
When stories are read aloud.
When adults model the joy of reading.
When questions are encouraged.
When curiosity is celebrated.
When books become part of everyday life.
That is why we built this library.
Not simply to recommend books.
But to help families build a culture of reading.
Within these pages you will find more than reading lists.
You will find our philosophy of literacy.
Practical guidance for parents.
Age-appropriate reading pathways.
Thoughtfully selected book recommendations.
Articles on learning, language, and child development.
Ideas for creating reading-rich homes and classrooms.
Resources that inspire children to become confident, thoughtful, lifelong readers.
Our hope is that this library serves not only the children of LoveNest International Christian School, but every family that believes books have the power to change lives.
We hope it encourages parents who are reading bedtime stories for the very first time.
We hope it inspires reluctant readers to discover the book that changes everything.
We hope it equips teachers to cultivate classrooms filled with curiosity and conversation.
Above all, we hope it reminds every child that learning does not end when the school day is over.
It continues every time they open a book.
This library is our invitation to families.
To read together.
To wonder together.
To learn together.
To grow together.
Because we believe that every child deserves the opportunity not only to learn to read, but to discover the lifelong joy, wisdom, freedom, and hope that reading can bring.
Welcome.
